Geranium Essential Oil

The supplied Geranium Essential Oil is derived by steam distillation of the leaves of Pelargonium graveolens, a plant species native to South Africa. The main components of this oil are alpha-pinene, myrcene, limonene, menthone, linalool, geranyl acetate, citronellol, geraniol, and geranyl butyrate. It is used as a beautifying agent in Ancient Egyptian times, Geranium essential oil is extracted from the entire geranium plant. The Geranium Essential Oil is pale yellow or greenish-yellow. It blends well with other floral oils as well as black pepper.
